Trbovlje
Trbovlje is a town and municipality in central Slovenia. Located in the eponymous valley of Trbovlje by the river Sava, the area is known for its rich deposits of coal and one of its three power plants features Trbovlje Chimney - reputedly the Europe's tallest chimney (360 m). In the past years it has also become notorious for its co-incineration plant designated to be built in Trbovlje's cement factory.

The Slovenian industrial band Laibach hails from Trbovlje.

The Slovenian Clarinet Choir was founded by the clarinetists Joze Kotar and Toni Umek, both from Trbovlje. This ensemble is notable because it is the first clarinet choir ever in Slovenia.

Trbovlje has a student organization Klub trboveljskih študentov (Klub B) that organises various events.
